Making Tax Digital (MTD) for VAT
Our Making Tax Digital (MTD) for VAT seminars that we held in our office earlier this month offering clients and contacts advice on the MTD for VAT changes, were well attended.
As a reminder, with effect from 1 April 2019, VAT registered businesses and organisations with a taxable turnover above the threshold of £85,000 require to be compliant with the new MTD for VAT legislation. This may involve changing accounting software and the way that VAT records are kept.
If your business or organisation falls into this category and has not yet started to prepare for the MTD for VAT, you need to act quickly now as time is running out.
